A Directors introduction course for Family Business Owners, their Directors, and Non-Executive Directors

Working within or for a family business, this course will provide you with a greater understanding of a director’s duties, legal responsibilities, and general governance.

You will gain an in-depth understanding of a board’s role and the relationship between shareholders, family members and non-exec directors.

From the knowledge gained throughout the day you will be able to bring best practice back into your business and enhance your own personal development.

The arrival time is at 9.30 am with the course
starting at 10.00 am.

The Course content will include:

  • Articles of Association
  • Companies Act Obligations
  • Interactions with Majority Shareholder Directors and Family Members
  • Board Meeting Format and How to Run Them
  • Scenarios explored, Your Personal Development and Action Plans

The course will conclude at 4.00 pm.

The course will be held at our Head Office near Kendal in Cumbria.
