Thixendale based artisan business, Charlie & Ivy’s has partnered with Irish family business Burren Balsamics to distribute its products throughout Ireland.
Armagh-based Burren Balsamics will sell Charlie & Ivy’s range of Bread Dippers and Gift Boxes alongside its own Balsamic Vinegars, Preserves, Jellies and Sauces to independent farm shops and delis across Ireland, both directly and through its distributor network.
“We met Susie Hamilton Stubber and Robert McDonald at the Farm Shop & Deli show in 2019 and are looking forward to working closely with them to grow the Charlie & Ivy’s brand in Ireland. We’re both family artisan businesses with a shared ethos of quality products using innovative ingredients,” said Jennie Palmer, Charlie & Ivy’s Marketing Manager.
Charlie & Ivy’s Bread Dippers were developed for entertaining and enhancing recipes. The range includes Great Taste award-winning flavours Garlic, Oregano & Balsamic; White Balsamic and Tarragon & White Peppercorn, Chilli, Garlic & Ginger. Its Bread Dipper gifting offer includes tasting sets, gift sets and an Oil & Balsamic Dipping Collection.
Charlie & Ivy’s products are made using award-winning cold-pressed, rapeseed oil by parent company, Breckenholme on the farm in Yorkshire.
Mrs Hamilton Stubber founded Burren Balsamics in 2014 when she made a few bottles of Blueberry Balsamic Vinegar for a local charity fair. A few years later, respected and Master Chef of Great Britain, Robert McDonald, joined the team, bringing with him decades of experience within the restaurant industry.
Together, they’ve worked to develop a range of products for restaurant chefs and home cooks that are sustainable and ethically made, using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible.
