Here at The Family Business Network, we are extremely excited to announce the launch of our latest media venture, a film series called ‘FamBiz Stories’.
Sharing the unique stories of family businesses has always been at the heart of what we do. It is what makes our events and business programmes relatable, personal and most of all, valuable to the many family businesses that engage with us.
As part of our new media production service, FamBiz Media, we have designed and created a series of short films that offer a behind-the-scenes glimpse into some of our fascinating family businesses, through real-life accounts told by the family members working within those businesses.
‘FamBiz Stories’ is a not a new concept to us but the onset of lockdown encouraged us to bring our famous storytelling into a new format – a series of short films. This first series will feature a number of short films, which will be released on a regular basis for people to access online. Each film will feature three family businesses telling their unique stories and highlighting some key business topic areas for them.
The first film features Sam Kirk of J Flex, Rachel Baker of JJ Smith and William Whitaker of Whitakers Chocolates.
Sue Howorth, founder of The Family Business Network said, “We are really excited to launch the first of our FamBiz Stories films. What is so different about them is that there is no written script for these stories; they are told from the heart which allows us to capture the true essence of the sector that is family business. Because of this, they make for really captivating viewing and will no doubt prove to be thought provoking and relatable to our family business audience both here in the UK and abroad. We hope that everyone who watches them will find something useful or inspirational to take back to their own business”.
