Large format print specialists, Dominion Print was founded by Dominic Clark in 1983 with wife Elaine. In this short film, we speak to Elaine and daughter, Managing Director Verity, about the loss of Dominic and the changing dynamics involved in running the company. Both Elaine and Verity explain how they stay true to Dominic’s founding principles, and how along with a continued consideration of his approach “What would dad do?” helps them to maintain his legacy. Whilst the duo have a close relationship that’s interwoven throughout family life and business life, Elaine’s future retirement plans will impact on the current decision-making process. Verity openly shares her struggles around this and the need to appoint external non-family support.
