Family owned Swansway Group, with new and used car and van dealerships located across the North West and Midlands, has once again shown their support to families in Cumbria with donations of gifts and toys for underprivileged children this Christmas. Operating as the “Swansway Santa Patrol”, gifts on behalf of Carlisle Audi have been delivered to the local charity, Cumbria Family Support, as Swansway Group’s contribution to ensuring that every local child has a gift to open on Christmas Day.
This is the second year in a row that Carlisle Audi has partnered with Cumbria Family Support, an organisation which supports vulnerable local families.
John McCormick, Head of Business at Carlisle Audi said of the initiative,
“We are very grateful to all our customers for their support over the years, and the Santa Patrol is one way we can give back to the communities where we do business. We are delighted to be able to give Christmas an early “boost” for local families in need, to alleviate some of the anxiety that they can experience at this time of year.
Sadly, for so many, the need for family support has never been higher. And we were only too happy to be able to donate these gifts and to help Cumbria Family Support kick-start their Christmas campaign.”
Deb Royston, Chief Officer Cumbria Family Support said,
“At Cumbria Family Support, we are again hugely grateful to Swansway for their support. We know this year has again been so challenging for so many of our supported families. Having the support from organisations such as Swansway means so much. They have teamed up with The Works again and already sent some amazing gifts. We will be fund raising again over coming weeks and just know we can match the amazing donations we had last year and ensure that every family we support receives a gift, vouchers and festive treats to brighten what can, for many, be such a difficult time of year. Thank you Swansway for getting us off to such a fantastic start for this year’s Christmas Campaign!”
