Hear directly from inspiring family business leaders as they candidly share their stories, insights, and lessons learned. The event features key family business leaders and a generational panel session with Q&A and interactive discussions, offering a valuable opportunity to connect with peers, gain practical perspectives, and explore what helps family businesses thrive across generations.

This special event marks the beginning of our journey in the region, where we will share our vision, introduce the support available for family businesses, and celebrate the invaluable role they play in our economy and communities.
At the heart of The Family Business Community is a deep understanding of the unique dynamics of family businesses, balancing both the rational and emotional aspects that influence decision-making.
We provide expert advice, counsel, facilitation, and mediation to families navigating the challenges of start-up, growth, succession, and transition. Beyond these services, we are passionate advocates for generational family businesses, connecting owners, offering peer-to-peer support, amplifying their voices, and celebrating their achievements.
Throughout our time together, we will share the support we are bringing to the South East region for generational businesses and how family businesses can continue to succeed for the long term.

Introducing your panel:

Tony Matharu is one of Britain’s leading hoteliers, entrepreneurs, and philanthropists, dedicated to maintaining London as a premier global city. He is the Founder and Chairman of the Central London Alliance, and Chairman of both Integrity International Group and Blue Orchid Hospitality. Over his career, Tony has developed 17 four- and five-star London hotels, creating thousands of jobs and establishing a hospitality portfolio valued at £1.5 billion.
A recipient of an Honorary Doctorate and numerous accolades—including the Institute of Hospitality’s Outstanding Contribution to the Industry—Tony sits on various high-profile boards spanning arts, culture, and business. He combines his corporate success with extensive charitable work through the Integrity International Trust, alongside playing international hockey and holding two Guinness World Records.
