Bury-based family business Dunsters Farm have welcomed their first Non-Executive Director, Gary Lumby MBE, to the board. Gary will be working with the team on a strategic level, helping the Bury-based wholesaler navigate exciting new developments such as new range additions, expansion in their B2C offering and moving into new product categories.
Until 2011, Gary was a UK Director of SME Banking at Yorkshire and Clydesdale Banks and also held senior Retail and SME Business Banking roles at Barclays Bank.
Utilising his experience in the finance sector and years of advisory support with SMEs, in the last decade Gary has provided consultancy for a large number of businesses across the UK, where he offers advice on Growth Strategies, Business Development, Marketing, HR, Risk Management, Finance, M&A’s and Corporate Governance.
In 2012, Gary formalised his consultancy, with the launch of his management consultancy business, Focus On Success Ltd, providing Non-Exec Directors & Business Coaching to SME’s across the UK.
In 2008, he was awarded a MBE for Services to the Finance Industry. He is a Mentor on the Goldman Sachs 10000 Small Business Programme, and offers his time as a coach on the WCYA Peer Networks Programme.
