Leadership and Legacy at the Manchester Next Gen Session
Stepping into a leadership role is a milestone in any career. But when that role is within a family business, the journey comes with a unique blend of opportunity, responsibility, and deep personal connection.
Last week, our Next Gen cohort gathered at Kuits Solicitors in Manchester for our second session of the programme. The day was defined by high energy, brilliant collaboration, and open conversations about what it truly takes to lead a family business into the future.
Here is a look at what we uncovered throughout the day from Bella one of the participants of the session:
Yesterday marked the third day of the Next Generation Programme, which took place at the offices of Kuits Solicitors in Manchester.
Throughout the day, we explored leadership and the different styles of leadership that exist within both businesses and family businesses. We spent time focusing on understanding our own leadership styles, how we work with others, and how different approaches can impact teams and business growth.
We also had a really insightful talk from Jake, a solicitor at Kuits Solicitors, who discussed the new employment laws being introduced following the recent change in government and what these changes could mean for businesses moving forward. It was a really engaging session, and we had the opportunity to ask questions and gain valuable insight into how businesses may need to adapt in the future.
Overall, it was another really valuable and thought-provoking day within the programme.
