Network Partner Expand Team With New Chartered Surveyor

One of the North’s leading independent rural property advisory firms and partner to the network, H&H Land & Estates, has expanded their team as they welcome Chartered Surveyor Helena White.

Based in the Kendal office, Helena will advise clients on rural properties and property related matters across the Cumbrian region. For farmers and landowners, 2021 is without a doubt going to be a year of challenges, changes and opportunities, and in taking up her position with H&H Land & Estates, Helena is keen to use her experience and knowledge to provide support and to help these businesses plan for the future.

Helena is originally from Devon and comes from a farming family who are also involved in commercial forestry. She graduated from Harper Adams University in 2018 with a BSc (Hons) in Rural Enterprise and Land Management. A RICS Chartered Surveyor, Registered Valuer and Fellow of the Association of Agricultural Valuers, Helena has gone on to develop a deep understanding of the rural property market, no doubt inspired by her own rural upbringing. She has experience in the rural property and land sector spanning from purchase and sales, to forestry and woodland management.

Commenting on Helena’s new appointment, Colin Tomlinson, Managing Director of H&H Land & Estates, said:

“We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Helena to our team at H&H Land & Estates. She is joining us at a really exciting time, when our market share and demand for our services is growing across all regions of the North. Helena has a very impressive understanding of the rural sector, and her hardworking nature will be a real asset to the team as we head into a new year and a time of significant change for the industry.”

Having very successfully taken responsibility of her own client base across central and south Scotland in her previous position, Helena is looking forward to taking up her new role with H&H Land & Estates. Helena commented:

“I am delighted to be joining a company which has such a strong prominence and reputation across Cumbria and the North of England. This past year has presented a number of challenges to so many people, but with change also comes opportunity. I am looking forward to working with farmers across the South Lakes, to assist them with their developmental progression in what is going to be a transitional period.”

Offering a vast range of professional advice and services including Farm Business Advice, Land Management and Development and Land Agency, H&H Land & Estates are one of the largest firms of independent rural property advisors in the North of the UK. Operating across the North of England and the Scottish Borders, they have a well-established client base across offices in Carlisle, Penrith, Kendal, Grange-over-Sands, Keswick, Durham and Cockermouth.
